Lynn Valley Care Centre is a privately owned and operated facility that has been in business since 1963. We have been accredited for the past 24 years by Accreditation Canada.

Although most of our residents are from the North Shore, we also have seniors from across Canada.

Lynn Valley Care Centre has 139 government subsidized beds and 65 private pay rooms and suites. We offer intermediate care, extended (complex care), palliative care, and end-of-life care.

Lynn Valley Care Centre is committed to protecting the rights of the residents we care for. All residents have the right to live with dignity and respect in a safe environment. With the help of the family, we strive to provide the best care possible for the resident.

We have a very active volunteer program at Lynn Valley Care Centre. High School students and adults from the community come on a regular basis to provide support and compassion to our residents. They are a welcome part of our team.

We are resident and family-focused, relying on ongoing client feedback to guide our quality improvement projects. We have an open-door policy, where any ideas and suggestions are welcomed, honored, and incorporated into improvement strategies.
