ADMINISTRATION

Renovation

Reception and fourth floor dining room are being renovated. We are very excited about the new design and how they are going to look like after the work is done. We apologize for any inconvenience that the work causes in the meantime. We are also looking for a contractor to paint the exterior of the building. We are in the process of converting our incontinent supplies. The company in charge has done a trial on one of our floors and the results have been extremely positive. The new products along with the new system of evaluating the needs of the residents, have resulted in very positive comments from our residents, their families and their care workers.

FOOD SERVICE

We now have had two of our four BBQ’s for the season, on August 20th we will be having our 3rd BBQ of the summer featuring Hamburgers and Veggie burgers for those who would like an alternative.
Separate sign-up sheets will be posted for each BBQ. As there is limited space outside on the patio, it is recommended that you sign up early to avoid disappointment. If you were turned away at the last event, you will be given priority status at the next one. Some residents prefer the atmosphere in their own dining room and the menu is the same, so the choice is yours! Let’s hope that our remaining BBQs are sunny & warm so that we can really take advantage of our terrific outdoor spaces. Stay tuned for the date of our final summer BBQ in September, which will feature BBQ’d ribs.

We hope everyone is enjoying the seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables available on the menu, especially the fresh fruit platters offered at afternoon teatime. They are a refreshing addition to the menu, so enjoy them while they are in season!

Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer temperatures!
