ACTIVITIES

- Lodge and Manor 1 & 2 at 1:00 pm in the outside courtyard between the Dining Room and the Garden Room.
Thursday, June 14th Lodge Monthly Birthday Party at 2:15 pm in the Activity Room.
Manor Birthday Parties:
- Manor 1st floor will be on Tuesday, June 19th at 1:30 pm.
- Manor 2nd floor will be on Wednesday, June 20th at 2:30 pm.
- Manor 3rd and 4th floor will be on Thursday, June 28th at 2:00 pm.
FOOD SERVICE
So far this spring the weather has been very nice and warm. The outdoor patio areas are already in use and hopefully the summer months will continue to stay wonderfully warm & dry too!
This month’s event will be Father’s Day – Sunday, June 17th. We’ll celebrate with a special evening meal, featuring Baked Ham, with Strawberry Rhubarb Pie for dessert.
Then just around the corner is our BBQ season, the first one to be held Wednesday, June 27th at 1 PM, in the main courtyard between the Lodge & Manor, plus the adjoining indoor areas. A separate BBQ will be held on the Manor 3rd & 4th floor as well at the normal lunch service time.
For our first event we will be serving teriyaki salmon, which is our tradition. Let’s hope the weather is exceptional, so that we can enjoy the patios. The sign-up sheet for this BBQ will be circulated to each area of the Manor and will be kept in the Lodge Activity Room. Please let the Activity staff know if you would like to sign up. As always, there is a limit of 2 guests per family so that we can accommodate as many residents as possible. Sign up soon to avoid disappointment. There will be 3 more BBQs held during July, August & September. Those dates will be announced shortly.

Welcome to Dr. Zul Nathoo
We are pleased to inform you that we now have a new Dentist, Dr. Zul Nathoo, who will begin providing dental care services to our residents, hopefully by the end of June. Dr. Nathoo is a very well-respected and experienced dentist who has been providing oral care services to residents in care facilities for over 20 years in the Vancouver and Victoria areas. And, we were pleased to hear that he knows and has worked closely with our Dental Hygienist, Leah Thomson.
Please read the attached information on Dr. Nathoo’s services and also complete the dental consent form. The consent forms must be completed even if you do not wish Dr. Nathoo to provide dental services. Once the form is completed, please drop it off at the reception desk or email / mail it back to us.
Once we receive the consent forms, we will arrange for Dr. Nathoo’s visit and you will be informed of the dates.
